The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported the draft resolution on the recognition of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria as temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation and on the condemnation of the genocide of the Chechen people. According to MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, 287 people’s deputies voted in favor of the resolution. The document notes that the Verkhovna Rada takes into account the proclamation of November 25, 1990 by the National Congress of the Chechen People of the Declaration on State Sovereignty of Chechnya (Nokhchichoy), based on the exercise by the Chechen people of their right to self-determination , sanctioned by the Charter of the United Nations, as well as the proclamation of Ichkeria after the collapse of the USSR on March 12, 1992.

IL PARLAMENTO UCRAINO HA RICONOSCIUTO LA REPUBBLICA CECENA DI ICHKERIA
La Verkhovna Rada dell’Ucraina ha sostenuto il progetto di risoluzione sul riconoscimento della Repubblica cecena di Ichkeria come temporaneamente occupata dalla Federazione russa e sulla condanna del genocidio del popolo ceceno. Secondo il deputato Yaroslav Zheleznyak, 287 deputati del popolo hanno votato a favore della risoluzione .
Il documento rileva che la Verkhovna Rada tiene conto della proclamazione del 25 novembre 1990 da parte del Congresso nazionale del popolo ceceno della dichiarazione sulla sovranità statale della Cecenia (Nokhchichoy), basata sull’esercizio da parte del popolo ceceno del proprio diritto a l’autodeterminazione, sancita dalla Carta delle Nazioni Unite, così come la proclamazione di Ichkeria dopo il crollo dell’URSS il 12 marzo 1992.
