Memorial recorded Gennadiy, a Russian resident identified only by his given name, as killed during a shooting in a house on Proletarskaya Street. Its investigation drew on a surviving eyewitness who was wounded in the attack and pretended to be dead. The numbered appendix gives the birth year 1951 and a death date of 8 April.
