Documented circumstances

Rezvan Khuseynov was 16 years old when he was killed on 8 April 1995, according to Memorial’s investigation. His full name is recorded as Rezvan Suleymanovich Khuseynov.

At around 10 a.m., Rezvan was in the family courtyard watering cattle. The report states that he was shot by gunfire from tanks passing along the street. The village register and the broader narrative describe several residents shot from passing armoured vehicles during the operation.

Appendix 3 identifies testimony from his mother and a relative, together with a funeral list and death-certificate reference. These are source-attributed findings of the independent human-rights investigation, not a court judgment identifying the particular shooter.

Editorial note: This page records a death and circumstances documented in Memorial’s investigative report. It does not independently establish the personal guilt of a named soldier. English Romanization is editorial; the original Cyrillic name governs. The birth year alone does not establish a precise age unless the source explicitly provides one.
