Original Cyrillic name: Амирханов Альви Адамович — Born: 1978 — Date of death recorded by Memorial: 7 April 1995 — Location: Sharipova Street, Samashki — Memorial source record: Appendix 3, no. 10 — Case category: Child killed during shelling
Documented circumstances
Alvi Amirkhanov was a 17-year-old resident of Samashki, born in 1978. Memorial records his death on 7 April 1995 during the Russian Interior Ministry’s operation against the village.
According to the 1995 Memorial investigation, Alvi was driving calves back from pasture with 15-year-old Ruslan Makhmudov. Both teenagers were killed by mortar fire near Sharipova Street before the ultimatum deadline for civilians to evacuate had expired.
Appendix 3 cites Alvi’s father and a neighbouring resident among the witnesses and refers to funeral and death-certificate records. The report provides a documented account of the incident; it does not identify an individual gunner or a criminal judgment concerning this death.
Related documented victims: Ruslan Makhmudov — killed in the same mortar attack.

Editorial note: This page records a death and circumstances documented in Memorial’s investigative report. It does not independently establish the personal guilt of a named soldier. English Romanization is editorial; the original Cyrillic name governs. The birth year alone does not establish a precise age unless the source explicitly provides one. No verified portrait of this person has yet been added.
