Kesirt Rasueva
Memorial case SAM-1995-V068 · Samashki, Chechnya · April 1995
Original Cyrillic name: Расуева Кесирт Заурбековна · Born: 1925 · Recorded death: 8 April 1995 · Place: Shelter on Sharipova Street, Samashki · Memorial Appendix 3 no.: 68
Documented circumstances
According to Memorial, Kesirt Rasueva died in a house used as a shelter on Sharipova Street that caught fire during the military operation. The investigators linked the episode to the deaths of Madu Rasuev and Yuki Gaytukaeva. The numbered register draws on the testimony of her son and another local witness.
What the evidence does not establish
Memorial explicitly left open whether she died while the building burned or was already dead before the fire. The same surname does not, by itself, establish her relationship to Madu Rasuev.
This is a source-based memorial record, not a judicial verdict. References to Russian military involvement summarise Memorial’s documented witness evidence. The transliteration is editorial and all explicit uncertainties are retained.
Related victim records — Sharipova Street shelter: Yuki Gaytukaeva · Madu Rasuev. The exact cause and timing of death relative to the fire remain uncertain in the source.
