Victim record SAM-1995-V023 · Samashki, Chechnya · First Russian-Chechen War

Original Cyrillic: Белов Владимир Алексеевич — Year of birth: 1948 — Date of death in Memorial: 8 April 1995 — Location: Sharipova Street, Samashki — Memorial Appendix 3: entry 23

Documented circumstances

Vladimir Belov was recorded by Memorial as a resident of Samashki killed on 8 April 1995, in the same area of Sharipova Street where other residents were trapped in a burning shelter.

Memorial’s investigation states that Belov came out of the burning building and was shot. The report links the event to Abi Akhmetova’s death, recording that both emerged with their hands raised. These conclusions are drawn from eyewitness testimony; the available material is not a criminal conviction of a named soldier.

Related documented cases (Sharipova Street): Adlob-Vakhab Akhmetov · Balavdi Akhmetov · Abi Akhmetova · Doga Tsatishaev. These links connect records by documented place or family relationship, without implying unrecorded kinship or personal criminal guilt.
