Evidence and original source
Recorded supporting material: Cousin’s testimony; death certificate no. 41. See Memorial, By All Available Means: Russian Interior Ministry Operation in Samashki, 7–8 April 1995, Appendix 3, case 62.
Limits of the record
Both the death date and the interval after the beating are uncertain; the source prints a question mark beside the date. The page cannot definitively establish the mechanism of death.
This is a source-based memorial profile, not a judicial determination of individual criminal guilt. Where dates, circumstances or family relationships are uncertain, they remain explicitly marked as such.
