Khoza Tsatishaev
Memorial case SAM-1995-V091 · Samashki, Chechnya · April 1995
Original Cyrillic name: Цатишаев Хоза Ибрагимович · Born: 1919 · Recorded death: 8 April 1995 · Place: Stepnaya Street, Samashki · Memorial Appendix 3 no.: 91
Documented circumstances
According to Memorial’s numbered register, Khoza Tsatishaev’s burned body was found in a house after Russian troops entered the area; the body displayed gunshot wounds. The investigators cited witness and documentary evidence concerning his death.
What the evidence does not establish
This is entry no. 91 and must not be confused with Doga Tsatishaev, entry no. 90. Some internal references in Memorial’s narrative appear to have been misnumbered; the appendix supplies the stable catalogue number.
This is a source-based memorial record, not a judicial verdict. References to Russian military involvement summarise Memorial’s documented witness evidence. The transliteration is editorial and all explicit uncertainties are retained.
