Documented circumstances

Memorial’s Appendix 3 records Isa Borshigov as a resident of Vygonnaya Street who died on 8 April 1995.

According to testimony collected from his father and a neighbour, Borshigov was brought out of a cellar and shot around the corner of a building. The body of Khizir Khazhbekarov, another resident removed from the cellar, was documented in the same immediate area. Memorial’s narrative describes the two killings together and includes a photograph of their burial location taken on 12 April 1995.

Related documented cases (Vygonnaya cellar): Khizir Khazhbekarov. These links connect records by documented place or family relationship, without implying unrecorded kinship or personal criminal guilt.
