Historical description

The President establishes a state commission to organize the International Day for the Protection of the Sovereignty and Independence of the Chechen Republic. R. Goytemirov, presidential adviser, is named chair, and M. Udugov, head of the State Committee for Press and Information, deputy chair. The commission list includes representatives of the Parliament, foreign affairs, the Islamic Institute, the economy and finance ministry, the Ethnic Council, the committee for legal reform, and academics, including Z. Yandarbiev.
