Historical summary
Following an appeal by the All-Caucasian Ecological Council, the President creates a state commission to organize a ‘Greens of the World’ initiative for the protection of the Caucasus. The named members include State Secretary A. Akbulatov as chair, presidential adviser R. Goytemirov as deputy, and representatives of foreign affairs, Grozny city administration, ecology and state television.
